I told Jason once he could ride his bike without his training wheels I would give him a dollar bill. That was the motivation that he needed until he realized that you fall off with out the training wheels and he did not think that was worth the money. He would not try anymore so I bought him confidence. Yes, you can buy confidence in the form of knee and elbow pads and cool bike gloves.
